Omar started at the Center for Applied Intelligent Systems Research (CAISR) in 2021 as a research engineer. Before joining Halmstad University, he worked with Skövde Artificial Intelligence Lab (SAIL) with a focus on intention recognition and pedestrians’ safety. Omar's research interests include machine learning, deep learning, healthcare and computer vision.
