Presented on Tuesday 23th, 10:00 h - Galicia is the Northwestern Region of Spain. The Galician Public Healthcare service has put in place a Patient Portal that allows access to medical records since 2016. The pandemic Period produced a cathalitic effect multiplying by 10x the number of citizens usign the portal. After the effect of pandemics, the number of users has remained five times higher, showing a sustained access of 20% of the population of the Region, and has been consolidated as an essential tool for patient empowerment.
