Introduction to OMOP
The global healthcare data ecosystem is complex due to varied databases, medical ontologies, and data collection methods, compounded by privacy and security concerns. AI in Precision health
AI is crucial for Sweden to meet future societal challenges, but the country is falling behind in international AI rankings. In precision health, Sweden has a unique opportunity to profile itself thanks to strong research, access to health data, and a robust AI infrastructure. To drive development in AI and precision health, a national effort is required between healthcare, academia, politics, and research organizations. California is one of the world's leading regions in this area, and we can learn a lot from each other to drive development forward together.
This track aims to increase knowledge about the latest developments in AI and precision health, particularly in the San Francisco area, through insights from leading experts at prominent universities. We will also highlight Sweden's position in AI and precision health, as well as the conditions created through national initiatives and representatives. The goal is to understand how we can collaborate and create a forum to meet and initiate cooperation in health and research.
The target audience for this track includes doctors, nurses, and others who work with or want to use AI, researchers, policymakers, and anyone curious about AI and precision health.
