February is here, and with it comes a set of important updates to InvitePeople! Most notably, two-factor authentication is now mandatory for all administrators, a key step in keeping your events and data secure. We’ve also added multi-organization support, making it easier than ever to manage events across different organizations, along with a new profile field, improved export filters, and fresh API endpoints. Let’s dive in! 🚀

Two-factor Authentication 🔐

• Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now mandatory for all administrators in InvitePeople. You can choose Set up later up to 5 times, before 2FA is enforced.

Multi-Organization Support 🏢

• It is now possible for users to be part of multiple Organizations. Supervisors can invite any user at Supervisor → Administrators → Add administrator, regardless of whether the user already has a role in another Organization. The current organization you are logged into is clarified both at My account and at the top of the left menu in the administrator backend. If you have access to multiple Organizations, you can select and switch at My account or through the user dropdown in the top right corner in the administrator backend.

Profile & Registration ✍️

• A new predefined profile field has been added: State / Region. It is a select dropdown field that can be enabled at Settings → Profiles → Registration information. It is currently available for the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States of America.

Payments 💰

• A new VAT rate of 21% for ticket sales in Belgium has been added for Ticket types.

General Administrator Backend Improvements 💻

• You can now quickly share a list to a large group of people by using Copy "Shared with" from a previously shared list... at Reporting → Shared lists. Choose a list to copy from and share a new list with the same people.

Exports Updates 💾

• Time filters have been added to all exports with date filters at Reporting → Exports → Create list → Filter list.

REST API Updates 🔌

• Version 2.2.21 of the InvitePeople REST API has been released. https://docs.invitepeople.com/#changelog
• Version 2.2.20 of the InvitePeople REST API has been released, with six new endpoints: Get all Orders, Get a specific Order, Get all Invoices, Get a specific Invoice, Get all Invoice Data Exports, and Get a specific Invoice Data Export. https://docs.invitepeople.com/#changelog
