Brist på läkemedel pga restanmälningar skapar stora problem i vården, för apotek och patienter. Införandet av informationen om restanmälda läkemedel som kommer från Läkemedelsverket i Sil (Svenska informationstjänster för läkemedel) kan leda till förändringar och förbättringar på arbete som regioner bedriver.Under hösten 2023 har intervjuer genomförts med några läkare och personer som arbetar med läkemedelsbrister i regioner. Resultatet av arbetet visar på effekter på kort och lång sikt. Även behov och önskemål om förbättringar i informationen framkom.
