With cyber-threats on the rise, we’re strengthening how we protect your events and data. At InvitePeople, security and accessibility are our top priorities. Starting January 1, 2026, two-factor authentication (2FA) will be mandatory for all administrators to ensure even stronger protection. We’re also expanding our global reach with Spanish language support and payments through Stripe, making InvitePeople more flexible and easier to use for organizers and participants around the world. Two-factor Authentication 🔐
- Two-factor authentication is now promoted each time you log in with a new browser or device. Starting
January 1, 2026, all accounts with administrator rights in InvitePeople will be required to use two-factor authentication. For now, you can chooseSet up later, but we strongly encourage all users to use two-factor authentication!
Supporting more Languages 🌍
- A new language has been released for participant views:
Spanish.
Matchmaking & Meeting Generation 🤝
- You can now view change logs for meetings at
Administer→Meetings→Booked meetings→Meeting details. Scroll to the bottom of the page and findUpdates made to the meeting. - A new setting is available in the
Book meetingpop-up when you’re scheduling meetings manually:Transfer tags to meeting. This setting will appear if any of the meeting’s participants arePartakersthat haveTagsadded to them. You can quickly select all tags, or only a subset. - You will now see warning messages at
Administer→Meetings→Booked meetingsandAdminister→Meetings→Booked meetings→Planning boardfor meetings missing two main participants.
Sessions & Content Managers 📅
- You can now set the
Content for checked in participantssession setting toMicrosoft Teams meetingand automatically generate a Microsoft Teams meeting link for the session. This new function is great for small internal workshops and group meetings. - A new feature for those of you who work with call-for-proposal has been released:
Content manager links. You will find it atSettings→Session settings→Content manager links. This allows you to create multiple or extra registration links forContent managersto collect proposals. You can set up each link with aTemplate, defining presets for each new session proposal created via the link. The proposals and content managers associated with a link can later be filtered and tracked.
Payments & Invoicing 💰
- You can now connect InvitePeople to your
Stripeaccount for payment collection. Stripe offers card payments and a variety of other payment methods. Please reach out if you are interested in usingStripefor your events! - You can now edit ticket prices for orders connected to invoices with status
Invoice created(before the invoice is sent). Go to theOrderin the administrator backend, scroll down, and click on one of the pencils in the tickets table. - Norwegian organization number validation is now available for
Invoices. Please reach out if you are interested in this feature! - For those of you using our InExchange integration: you can now monitor the delivery of all invoices via InExchange at
Supervisor→Invoices→InExchange delivery, and per invoice atAdminister→Economy→Invoices→InExchange delivery. - For those of you using our banking integration: you can now view
Bank statement entriesatSupervisor→Invoices→Bank statement entries.
General Administrator Backend Improvements 💻
- A badge showing the
Event IDhas been added to the administrator backend, both in the left main navigation and on theOverviewpage. You can click on the badge to copy theEvent IDto your clipboard. TheEvent IDcan be very helpful information for our support team, and it is a good practice to include it when you create support tickets. - You can now update all your shared lists at once. Go to
Reporting→Shared listsand click on theUpdate all listsbutton.
Exports Updates 💾
- A new
Exportin theSessionssection has been added:Microsoft Teams sessions. This new export includes allMicrosoft Teams meeting sessionsconnected to sessions in InvitePeople with start times, end times, and durations for each participant. - The
Session informationexport has two new columns:CompanyandContent manager link. TheCompanycolumn shows the name of any company that the session is connected to. TheContent manager linkcolumn indicates if the session was created as a proposal by aContent managerwho registered via aContent manager link. - The
Sessions and content managersexport has a new column:Content manager link. This new column indicates if the session was created as a proposal by aContent managerwho registered via aContent manager link. - The
