As the busy event-filled fall comes to an end, we are proud to present a mix of major, highly requested updates and smaller yet delightfully good ones. Enjoy! ⭐️

Widgets & Content Blocks 📝

  • A new Widget kind has been released: Navigation tiles. With this new widget, you can create prominent menus and navgiation sections. There are two styles available: Floating and Vertical. The floating tiles resembles an app launch screen, and the vertical tiles renders a large menu. The tiles can be themed with colors, icons, and images. This widget is handy when creating templates for mobile event apps.
  • The blocks when editing a Page, Page version, or a content block Widget can now be sorted using the arrow buttons on the top left corner.

Matchmaking & Meeting Generation 🤝

  • The Meeting generator has been updated with a new setting: Main meeting party in separate rooms. This setting is available when meetings take place in meeting rooms. When you check this setting, the partakers of the Main meeting party will be assigned separate rooms where all their respective meetings take place.
  • The non-bookable slots set at Settings → Configure calendar → Close times are now taken into account when generating meetings using the Meeting generator.

A Little Bit of This and That 🍬

  • Your organization’s statistics present at Supervisor → Statistics has been updated. A new row Created participants (Administrators) has been added, summarizing the number of participants with administrator roles.
  • The map on the Registration page now has full dark mode support and will reflect the Theme you selected at Settings → Customize appearance → Branding.
  • You can now update and view participants’ External IDs in the administrator backend at Administer → Participants at the bottom of the Fields table.

Exports & API Updates 💾

  • Profile fields with the setting Use for meeting partakers are now included as columns in the Assigned meeting ratings export.
  • The Assigned meeting partakers export can now be filtered by the number of ratings the Assigned meeting partakers have done, from 0 to 100.
  • Version 2.2.19 of the InvitePeople REST API has been released. A new property slug has been added to the Event, Seminar, and Company objects. https://docs.invitepeople.com/
