Patients' remote monitoring platforms can be enhanced with intelligent recommendations and gamification functionalities to support their adherence to care plans. The current paper aims to present a methodology for creating personalized recommendations, which can be used to improve patient remote monitoring and care platforms. The current pilot system design is aimed to support patients by providing recommendations for Sleep, Physical Activity, BMI, Blood sugar, Mental Health, Heart Health, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease aspects. The users, through the application, can select the types of recommendations they are interested in. Thus, personalized recommendations based on data obtained by the patients’ records anticipated to be a valuable and a safe approach for patient coaching. The paper discusses the main technical details and provides some initial results.

Ai in its current form and function is unrealistic unsupportable and for some unattainable economically speaking. A vision of democratizing and commoditizing Ai while running at scale never seen. In addition how can this new user not human never takes a break be managed without overwhelming the clinical staff.Presented will be a challenge to all vendors in the industry and the future. It’s time for a change.Presented will be an idea for a platform that leverages existing application as we manage human/clinical driven workflows vs data/machine learning workflows going forward.

With the fast progression in AI, its role in healthcare is bound to be ubiquitous in near future. However, creating AI software that is unbiased and trained ethically remains a challenge. In this session, we will evaluate different aspects of what it means for the AI to be biased and how we can evaluate it as a medical device software. Similarly, it is important to understand the fact that ethical AI is a two-way street. We will also look into how the society and the regulatory bodies should play a role for AI to be constructed in an ethical way.

European Ethical Principles for Digital Health is an initiative of the French Presidency of the council of the European union. The legislative work on the European Health Data Space started under the French Presidency. It aims to give European citizens the guarantees of trust they are expecting for the processing of their health data. The sharing of health data can raise legitimate questions: clarifying these European Principles of Ethics for Digital Health will make it possible to go beyond the GDPR and to condition the choices of methods underlying digital health initiatives. This presentation will highlight important principles and how they are implemented in the member states. As well as the continuous work that needs to be done to ensure the trust from the European citizens.
