Spår: MIE: Special Topic: Caring is Sharing - exploiting value in data for health and innovation
The core of the patient centeredness is that care provided is respectful of and responsive to patients` preferences, and values, which should guide the clinical decisions. Patient generated health data (PGHD) integrates patients` values and preferences into decision-making. Digitalization of health care services and PGHD provide an opportunity to integrate patient preferences and values with EPRs to support decision-making. The workshop is based on the studies conducted in the Reliable Knowledge for health Care: Process and Practice of Shared Decision Making – research project (www.proshade.fi). We study PGHD and information in shared decision-making.
In this workshop, we focus on digital tools and applications for PGHD and aim to build a network of researchers. Participants will be able to:
•Gather collective information on experiences and research relating to digitally stored PGHD
•Generate new ideas for the research and development of digital tools and applications for PGHD
•Build a network of researchers who are interested in digital tools and applications for PGHD
Discussion topics:
1.Identification of the researchers, research projects and digital tools and applications for PGHD to build a network of researchers in the field.
2.Experiences and perceptions of the research and practice regarding the digital tools and applications for PGHD
3.Recommendations for future research topics in the field of PGHD.
You are warmly welcome!
