Remote Patient Monitoring is a crucial tool to create benefits for the patients, the providers and the payer. Yet there are several barriers on an international level that prevents the wider use of the technology, where reimbursement is still one of them. Boston Scientific has worked together with KOL's, patient organizations as well as trade organizations in trying to help solve the reimbursement. Our Health Economy and Market Access (HEMA) department acrosss Europe has managed be a valued partner in the development of reimbursement guidelines for RPM. Sylwia is a Public Affairs and Market Access professional with more than 10 years of experience in business and public administration.
She currently holds the position of Head of outside Big5 (Poland, Czech Republic, Benelux, Nordics), Health Economic & Market Access Manager Poland at Boston Scientific, a U.S. medical technology company with global reach. In her role, she oversees, among other things, stakeholder relations and deals with public health issues of high society relevance with government and policymakers. She works also with industry/NGOs partners on strengthening transparent partnerships between business and policymakers, such as the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, to foster good climate for transatlantic relations. Previously, she worked as a Public Policy Manager Central Eastern Europe, being responsible for advocacy projects in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, and Romania. Before that, she managed several Public Affairs projects for corporate clients (tech, energy, FMCG and healthcare) in a global consulting firm. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, Institute of Political Science (2013). Sylwia is an alumna of the Aspen Institute Central Europe.
