Denise Molinnus received her M.Sc. in biomedical engineering from Aachen University of Applied Sciences (Campus Jülich) in 2013. In 2018 she obtained her Ph.D. at Philipps University Marburg in collaboration with the Institute of Nano- and Biotechnologies (INB) at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. From 2018 to 2021, she has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at INB working on different biosensor approaches. Since 2021, she is with the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at the Medical Faculty of the RWTH Aachen University. She coordinates the project DISTANCE, with the aim of collecting and utilizing multicenter patient data for research and care and developing a user centered application for Post-Intensive Care Syndrome.
