Track: Eng - Implementation / Change Managment
We will touch upon identifying and empowering the available specialist resources as well as involving informal manpower to support the whole process with curated and targeted actions with the ultimate vision of an embedded, cost effective and seamless support systems for the vulnerable populations.
As a real life example, the session will give an overview of a successful feasibility study conducted in 2020-2021 and subsequent adoption of pediatric digital speech therapy services for a large municipality in Estonia, a country with leading metrics in health and educational technology adoption. We will be demonstrating effective participation and collaboration of municipal government, educational and healthcare institutions as well as the end users - specialists, family members and children with speech difficulties. Specific outcomes are presented from over 200 family members and children and 100 specialist participants (speech therapists, teachers, special education experts).
Furthermore, the goal of the session is to offer insights and potential blueprints for other municipalities in Scandinavia and beyond to enter similar collaboration and pathways.
