The work of Dr. Pecoraro is part of the research activity Health and Society, of which he is the contact person, where he mainly deals with the analysis, design and development of information systems in the clinical setting with particular attention to the following aspects: analysis and modeling of business processes; identification, collection and analysis of the requirements to determine the properties and functionality of information systems; design and implementation of software architectures; design of conceptual models based on clinical data standards to facilitate interoperability between different information systems; evaluation of health services through the identification and analysis of quality indicators; clinical data warehouse design.
