Track: Eng - Implementation / Change Managment
The current state and future projections of heart disease are major strain on health and society. Innovations in digital health and virtual care models have been suggested as a solution for the problem, but to advance earlier detection for hundreads of millions individuals living with significant CVD risk factors, bottlenecks in the scalability and accessibility of technology need to be solved. Many curreny technologies, such as ECG or PPG, still offer only a narrow disease detection capability. With the ambition to take heart disease detection to the hands of billion smartphone users, CardioSignal addresses the challenge of delayed diagnosis and growing disparity in heart disease care. CardioSignal motion sensor technology can turn billions of smartphones into powerful cardiac imaging tools to detect and monitor major heart diseases anywhere, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, valve diseases, atrial fibrillation and pulmonary hypertension. By placing the smartphone for 60 seconds on your chest, we can collect accurate assessment of heart motion that can be turned into digital biomarkers. These digital cardiac biomarkers can replace invasive and costly standard care technologies, enabling faster care and with lower cost. With this powerful approach and disruptive accessibility, we are introducing a solution to bridge the gap in the growing disparity in cardiovascular care, and building a revolution in early detection, monitoring and diagnostics of the costliest and deadliest disease in the world.
Our talk at Vitalis will focus on the results of several new clinical trials in several different cardiac diseases and demonstrate examples of clinical utility in several on-going partnerships where the technology is used.
