Author of several scientific publication on digital health, telemedicine, and research in medicine and surgery.
Qualifications: Degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Pisa, Postgraduate Specialization in General Surgery and PhD in Experimental Surgery at University of L'Aquila, Master and EUPF Register of Euro-Projects Designers and Managers. Researcher in several national and international projects since 1996 on technological innovations for: medical and surgical services; change management in healthcare systems; patient's safety and quality assurance on healthcare services; designing and projecting of eHealth and mHealth systems. Medical-surgical practice in Spain (Granada) and Italy (Pisa, L'Aquila, Avezzano, Formia) and expert consultant on surgery and telemedicine at Umberto I General Hospital of Rome. Independent expert consultant for European Commission on eHealth and mHealth projects. Expert consultant on design and projecting digital healthcare services. VP Cluster for Health Innovation and Community (CHICO) 2015-2017, VP Italian Society for Digital Health and Telemedicine 2015-2018.
