As a PhD student in the field of ‚Medical Informatics, Biostatistics & Complex Systems‘ at the Medical University of Vienna and my position at Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention, I focus on semantic interoperability for integrating patient-related outcomes data into routine care and research. In addition to health data standards and terminologies, my particular interest lies in the secondary use of health data for observational research and the standardization approaches needed to achieve this.
