Lecturer and Senior Learning Designer
Mohammed Bin Rashid University

Leigh Powell is an early career researcher exploring the field of learning analytics with expertise in developing education for online and blended learning.

This talk will discuss the design and piloting of an online community health initiative to address vaccine misinformation and hesitancy to vaccine. Our approach brings together the fields of learning design and learning analytics, a growing area of study in which education initiatives explicitly consider the kinds of data they want to see as evidence of effective learning.
