Research and Teaching Fellow at the Department of Translation Technology, Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI), University of Geneva.
Johanna currently works on the PROPICTO project, which aims at creating Speech-to-Pictograph translation systems. Before that, she contributed to the BabelDr project, a spoken language translation system for the medical domain. She obtained a PhD in Multilingual Information Processing from the University of Geneva in 2015. Johanna also holds a Master’s degree in translation from the FTI and a Diploma in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bern.
