Sweden’s Innovation Agency, The Swedish Research Council, and the Swedish innovation programme for life science and health Swelife, all finance a number of innovative projects. These projects generally require guidance on how health data can be managed to include user needs, take advantage of existing technical solutions and comply with legislation and available standards to continuously develop ever more relevant implementations of products and services. Lack of support risks leading to a lack of interoperability between the projects and the existing health data ecosystem. To avoid new projects stalling or missing the expected results, the Health Data Guide aims to guide the less experienced projects from the first idea to implementation and evaluation to improve the solutions to their fullest potential.
