Interoperability backbone of the European Health Data Space: XpanDH project and beyond Har passerat
Onsdag 15 maj 2024 14:40 - 15:05 F1
Föreläsare: Dmitry Etin
Spår: The European Health Data Space; a health specific ecosystem
In this session we will explore the current state of healthcare interoperability in EU and dive into the crucial role of the European Electronic Health Records Exchange Format (EEHRxF) in mitigating interoperability challenges within the European Health Data Space (EHDS). By concentrating on relevant domestic and cross-border health and care use cases and nurturing communities of doers, EEHRxF is enabling the enhance health data exchange across Europe. The presentation will shed light on how the industry is advancing towards EEHRxF adoption, starting from an initial focus on primary use within EHDS to bridging the gap with secondary uses. This transition is essential in evolving health scenarios like precision medicine, where healthcare delivery and clinical research intersect. XpanDH project, as one of several European Commission-funded initiatives, plays a vital role in supporting the ongoing evolution of EHDS regulations, illustrating a collective effort to streamline health data interoperability.
