Tuesday May 14, 2024 11:00 - 11:30 F1
Lecturer: Emira Imeri
Complex surgeries, requiring extensive patient preparation and post-operative care, along with adherence to post-surgery guidelines, impose a significant burden on patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare systems. This project aims to enhance our todays’ offering with a digital, AI-enhanced virtual companion who guides patients through their care path to enable and simplify their journey self-management. The solution includes a professional dashboard to monitor progress and highlight critical indicators.
The app will provide access to vital health information, track health measurements, ensure appointment adherence and help to patients to understand documents such as lab results. It aims to enhance patient engagement in self-monitoring and adherence to treatment plans. Additionally, the app integrates a real AI healthcare professional, enabling patients to interact with a virtual healthcare professional who can offer support based on patient’s needs and provide personalized guidance. The solution enables healthcare professionals to accompany and manage patient journeys more efficiently. It offers functionalities to configure the desired patient guidance and an AI healthcare professional based on a real doctor.
