Hälsodata ska bli tillgängliga i hela vårdkedjan för all vård, såväl kommunal som regional, och för tandvård oavsett huvudman vilket kräver samordning för att förverkligas.

Att hälsodata blir tillgängligt i hela vårdkedjan, oavsett vårdgivare, spelar en stor roll för kvaliteten i vården, patientens ställning och patientsäkerheten. Det kommer också att minska den administrativa bördan för vårdpersonalen.
Bättre förutsättningar för vårdpersonalen att göra det de ska göra – hjälpa människor.

Regeringens satsningar om att tillgängliggöra hälsodata är i linje med det arbete som sker i EU.

Tomas Werngren är regeringens samordnare för en nationell digital infrastruktur i hälso- och sjukvården. Tomas bistår regeringen i arbetet med att införa infrastrukturen. Hans uppgifter är att informera om regeringens arbete och genom nära dialog med berörda aktörer förbereda för införandet av infrastrukturen. Tomas träffar berörda aktörer; kommuner, regioner, privata utförare av hälso- och sjukvård och tandvård, patientföreträdare, branschföreträdare för näringslivet, myndigheter, Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner och andra berörda aktörer inom både offentlig och privat sektor. Tomas har tidigare arbetat med kommunal samverkan inom finansområdet varav 18 år som VD för Kommuninvest.
