As part of Sweden’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, leading Swedish and Spanish companies in the green hydrogen sector met yesterday to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences.
The shift to green hydrogen brings major opportunities and will contribute to the objectives of the EU Hydrogen Strategy and the REPower EU plan. Business Sweden coordinated today’s event in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Madrid, Spain.
“Europe must lead by example, meeting emission reduction targets while at the same time boosting economic growth and competitiveness. To achieve this, it is important to further advance the renewable energy and green hydrogen agenda in the EU," said Teppo Tauriainen, Sweden’s Ambassador to Spain.
Focusing on the latest trends, the seminar provided an excellent opportunity to learn about the impact of green hydrogen across national and European economies.
