Trots massiv kritik väljer Tidöpartierna att gå vidare med ett lagförslag om anmälningsplikt mot papperslösa som nu ska utredas. Den så kallade angiverilagen innebär att skolpersonal, samt medarbetare inom myndigheter, sjukvård och socialtjänst, skulle tvingas ange människor som de egentligen har i uppgift att hjälpa och stötta.
Vilka blir konsekvenserna om ett papperslöst barn riskerar att rapporteras till polisen om hen går till skolan? Hur kommer detta påverka människors rätt till utbildning och vård? Och hur påverkas lärarnas arbetssituation, och elevernas trygghet, om de ska behöva ange de elever vars ömsesidiga förtroende de byggt upp?
Mänskliga rättigheter, som rätt till skolgång och rätt till vård, ska existera i samhället och inte bara finnas på papper. Om en rättighet inte är tillgänglig på riktigt står det i strid med grundläggande principer.
