1. The Research Council of Norway – The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR)

MoU: To develop and promote effective and result-oriented scientific and technological cooperation between scientists and institutes/laboratories in both countries.

The patented Norwegian technology will be used to produce Sustainable Aviation fuel using CO2 from different sources. The first project in India is estimated to produce 26 million litres of SAF

21. Nordic Climate Finance Hub -Bharatia

Climate investor outreach

To establish a global platform that engages Nordic investors and others globally to be able to see highly qualified investment projects. India-Norway becoming a joint-action hub.


22. Helinor Energy - Bharatia

Zero-emission power systems for maritime and off-grid applications

To establish in India a manufacturing facility and projects utilising PEM green hydrogen electrolyser.


23. Johnsen Chemicals - Bharatia

A combustion catalyst for solid fuel that enable a complete combustion at a lower level of Oxygen

To implement solution in various thermal power stations to reduce toxic emissions


24. Nor-Shipping - Bharatia

Global South Green Maritime Initiative

This MoU, to be signed at INDICA, in the margins of the 3rd India Nordic Summit, establishes a joint platform to launch the Global South Green Maritime Forum at Nor-Shipping 2028, combining India-led execution with global industry mobilisation to accelerate maritime decarbonisation. Both parties will jointly co-create and scale the platform, align stakeholders across policy, technology, and finance, and drive tangible outcomes through project pipelines, partnerships, investments and thought leadership.

Biofuels production in the Global South

To bring advanced Norwegian knowhow to India and the Global South for cost-effective biofuels production and GHG emissions reduction.


26. X Shore (Fortivo Group AS) - Bharatia

Electric/Battery powered boats

Silent, high-performance all electric powered boats to be manufactured in India.


27. Optigrid AS - Bharatia

Developing resilient and adaptive power (electricity) markets – specialising in hydropower

To design high integrity, highly adaptive and robust power markets with a focus on hydropower.


28. WindSpider (AS) - Bharatia

Floating Platforms for Offshore Wind

To establish a collaborative framework to assess, adapt and enable WindSpider’s offshore wind lifting solutions for deployment in India and, subsequently, wider emerging markets.
