Aborträtten är en självklarhet i Sverige, i alla fall i teorin. Vi har en av världens mest liberala abortlagar och abort täcks av sjukförsäkringen. Men vilka har tillgång till abortvård när den väl behövs, och vilka möter hinder? Hur påverkas tillgängligheten av en exkluderande politik där olika grupper i allt högre grad ställs mot varandra? Vilka utesluts från rättighetsskyddet när den offentliga debatten präglas av polemik och misstänkliggörande mot dem som anses “främmande”?
Utifrån ett perspektiv av sexuell och reproduktiv rättvisa belyser vi de hinder som kan finnas för personer i behov av abort. Det kan handla om stigma, ekonomi, geografiska hinder eller fördomsfullt bemötande inom vården. Hur skapar vi en abortvård där tillgång till rättigheten också präglas av rättvisa?
