I en snabbt föränderlig värld där migrationen ökar och samhällen blir mer diversifierade, står vi inför utmaningen att säkerställa att alla invånare får likvärdig tillgång till vård. RFSU Umeå bjuder in till ett viktigt seminarium där vi diskuterar hur vi kan arbeta för att stärka unga migranters sexuella och reproduktiva hälsa och rättigheter. Under seminariet kommer vi att lyfta frågan om rasism inom vården, som påverkar migranters tillgång till adekvat vård och leder till ojämlikheter.
Vi kommer tillsammans att undersöka och utveckla konkreta verktyg för att göra vården mer tillgänglig för alla, oavsett bakgrund. Mazen Baroudi, doktor i folkhälsa vid Umeå universitet, håller ett ögonöppnande föredrag om hur unga migranters möjligheter till sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa ofta hindras av strukturella brister inom den svenska hälso- och sjukvården. Seminariet vänder sig till yrkesverksamma och beslutsfattare inom region, hälso- och sjukvård, kommun och civilsamhälle, men alla som är intresserade är varmt välkomna att delta.
