The role of primary care in a crisis: lessons on preparedness from Sweden and Ukraine

Tuesday May 5, 2026 16:00 - 16:30 Next Level Stage

Lecturers: Andreas Lundqvist, Maria Helling, Yevhen Prylypko

Track: Hälso- och sjukvården i totalförsvaret

War draws our attention to the front line, but the real test may be elsewhere.

Should that care fail, the human cost can be extreme.

How can a tried and tested system from northern Sweden serve rural Ukraine, and how can the Ukrainian experience help Sweden maintain access to the essentials, if the worst were to happen?
