Digitalisation in healthcare and welfare continues to be a topical subject of the public debate today. Changes in the landscape with ongoing war makes it crucial to look beyond patterns from before. The geopolitic drivs new threats. In this sector, cyber attacks can have ramifications beyond financial loss and breach of privacy, actually matters of life and death. In this fireside chat we zoom in on threats being more and more professionalized and specialized, often from Russia and China. Our global and digital economy, with strong ties to both US and China, increases vulnerabilities and risks, putting requirements on organisations beyond IT. The subject has to move from server room to board room. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn non-googleble information from Northwave and our Threat Intelligence. A top notch team with insights from a broad network, being trusted advisor to many European organisations and public authorities, for instance as part of Europol advisory board.

Our innovative technology, the Enhanced Ear for Caregivers, uses automatic sound analysis to monitor vulnerable people remotely. Our solution gives caregivers and families peace of mind, knowing that they will be alerted immediately in case of an emergency. When a critical event is detected, such as a fall, a call for help, or any other distressing sound, our system immediately sends an alert to the designated carer's mobile phone. This notification allows the caregiver to remotely assess the situation, determine its nature and urgency, and ensure prompt and appropriate assistance. Leader in sound recognition, OSO-AI has developed a groundbreaking technology : The Enhanced Ear for Caregivers, designed to improve response times and safety in healthcare environments (Nursing homes and health facilities for people with disabilities). Supported by a team of over 50 employees and two rounds of funding totaling 14 million euros, OSO-AI has established a strong presence across France and is fast growing internationally, solidifying its position as a key innovator in healthcare technology.

Current AI solutions are narrow in scope, tackling isolated tasks (e.g., organ segmentation) rather than providing an end-to-end, AI-driven diagnostic workflow. Radiologists waste time toggling between fragmented systems, reducing efficiency. Current progress in machine learning research, in particular foundation models, offers new perspectives. This talk will address how the seamless measure of context aware, advanced biomarkers, as well as a new multi-modal interface for radiologists, holds the promise of bridging research and care and make precision radiology a reality for patients.
