Japan–Norway AI Innovation Forum

(By invitation only. Limited space)

Tuesday, 2 June 2026

13:30–18:00 Japan–Norway AI Innovation Forum

  • Location: Meiji Kinenkan, 2-2-23 Moto-Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Organisers: Norwegian Embassy, Innovation Norway
  • Program lead: Ben Smith and Yuko Yasuda, Innovation Norway

This invitation-only high-level forum gathers leaders from government, business and academia to discuss how Japan and Norway can enhance cooperation on AI innovation.

It is more critical than ever that likeminded countries cooperate on deep-tech like AI, for competitiveness, for security, and for the safety and well-being of citizens.

Japan is an industrial powerhouse, and Norway is a leader in digitalisation. Deeper AI cooperation can help us solve common challenges, from aging societies to climate change.

The forum will showcase both ongoing AI collaboration and opportunities for enhanced cooperation going forward.

Space is very limited.
