Introduktion av moderator Markus Lahtinen

13.20–13.50
Martin Gren, medgrundare, Axis Communications

14.00-14.30

Jan Meiswinkel, founder and CEO, Advancis

Integrationens avgörande betydelse i IoT-eran

Introduction by the moderator Markus Lahtinen

13.20–13.50
Martin Gren, Co-Founder of Axis Communications
Martin Gren is the co-founder of Axis Communications, the company that invented and launched the world’s first network camera for security applications, laying the foundation for IP-based video surveillance. As a pioneer in open-standard network video technology, Martin Gren has had a major impact on the development of technology solutions for physical security.
In his presentation on the Technology Stage, Martin Gren will share his views on some of the key trends shaping the security technology market, including the importance of the Internet of Security Things.

14.00-14.30

Jan Meiswinkel, Co-Founder/CEO, Advancis

In 2001, Jan Meiswinkel became co-owner and CEO of what was then the small German company Advancis. Today, Advancis is a leading European player in the rapidly growing global market for PSIM (Physical Security Information Management). At the Technology Stage at Skydd, Jan Meiswinkel will give a presentation with the following programme description:

The Critical Role of Integration in the IoT Era

The rapid growth of IoT is transforming the physical security landscape. Cameras, access control systems, sensors, building management systems, energy platforms, and other connected devices are generating unprecedented volumes of data. The challenge is no longer collecting information—it is integrating, interpreting, and acting on it in real time.

This presentation explores why integration has become a critical success factor in the age of IoT and AI, and how intelligent automation and unified security platforms can help organizations improve situational awareness, operational efficiency, and resilience in an increasingly connected world.
