The Skincare Professionals Awards 2026
The competition for the professional products
The Skincare Professionals Awardsis open to companies that cater to professionals and has products designed for skin therapists to work with in treatments. Competing companies exhibit at Hud & Kosmetik and/or are Service Members of SHR.
A jury appointed by SHR consisting of authorized skin therapists tests the products and produces three nominees in each category, which are presented on SHR's social media. The winners in each category will be presented during The Skincare Professionals Awards and our AW, SPAWards, at Hud & Kosmetik.
Hud & Kosmetik, Thursday 8th of October, place: Järngjuteriet, smaller fairhall.

Assessment criteria
The products will be judged according to the following criteria: Presentation, feel, content, results, packaging and user-friendliness. Total scores are set from 1-5 per criteria and product according to how well it met the following criteria.
Presentation: Why is the product in the competition? What are the important ingredients and why? Maximum 5 points
Feel: means looking at the texture, scent, application and feel of the skin. Maximum 5 points
Content: means looking at the ingredients of the products in general, with a focus on the main ingredients. The competing companies send information about the main ingredients in the application. Maximum 5 points
Result: means looking at whether the product delivers what it promises, as well as giving the expected effect and results. Maximum 5 points
Packaging and user-friendliness: means looking at the product and the product's packaging (if applicable), design, function and whether good from an environmental perspective. Maximum 5 points
Total maximum points per product: 25 points

The competition is organized by the SHR(Swedish Skin Therapists National Organization) CIDESCO section Sweden, the organization for well-trained skin therapists.
SHR is a non-profit association for Authorized Skin Therapists in Sweden.
