Certificate for Specialized Skin Therapist 2026 – For SHR-Members Only!
Lykke Barck is a senior consultant dermatologist and director of studies at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in education and is dedicated to making dermatological knowledge more accessible to both healthcare professionals and the general public. She hosts Hudläkarpodden ("The Dermatologist Podcast") and has appeared on radio and television, including the programme Fråga doktorn ("Ask the doctor").
This lecture provides a comprehensive and clinically grounded review of acne. We will explore the pathophysiology of acne in depth and highlight the underlying mechanisms. You will gain an updated understanding of different acne types and grading systems, how these influence treatment choices, and which treatment strategies are currently available and used in clinical practice.
The lecture also includes an overview of common differential diagnoses such as rosacea, perioral dermatitis, and other acne‑like skin conditions, along with guidance on how to distinguish between them. It will also address common myths and misconceptions about acne that circulate on social media, clarifying what is actually supported by scientific evidence.

CPR course 2026 – For SHR-Members Only!
Take the opportunity to further your training/update your CPR certificate during Hud & Kosmetik! CPR course for SHR members 2026 by HLR-Utbildarna.
HLR‑utbildarna provide the training – a team consisting of experienced emergency response personnel and certified CPR instructors with hands-on experience from real cardiac arrest situations. They combine solid professional expertise with strong pedagogy and supportive, confidence-building guidance.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- The first critical minutes – the chain that saves lives
- Check vital signs: consciousness and breathing assessment
- Alert emergency services correctly
- CPR in case of cardiac arrest – single-rescuer and two-rescuer techniques
- If normal breathing is present but the person is unconscious, we learn how to place them in the recovery position
Airway Obstruction
Measures in case of airway obstruction (choking):
- Back blows
- Heimlich maneuver / abdominal thrusts
- CPR
Defibrillator (AED)
- Device overview
- Safe and effective use of a defibrillator
- Scenario-based exercises
- All participants will practice hands-on until they feel confident and comfortable using the defibrillator
Acute Medical Conditions
Recognition and management of:
- Stroke
- Cardiovascular diseases
Certificate:
After completing the course, you will receive a certificate from HLR‑utbildarna. SHR will also add CPR as a special competence on your next ID badge.
Update:
To maintain CPR as a special competence on your ID badge, you need to refresh your knowledge every three years.
You can do this by:
- Attending a new CPR course arranged by SHR, or
- Attending an in-person CPR course with another provider and then submitting a photo of your certificate to kansli@shr.nu
