Swedish-German collaboration for digital, sustainable and accessible healthcare
In recent years, remarkable progress has been achieved within the healthcare sector, however unprecedented pressures remain. Global issues including ageing populations, rising climate change-related health risks, and an increase in noncommunicable diseases are facing national healthcare systems in Sweden and Germany. This is accompanied by economic uncertainties and personnel shortages. In order to provide solutions to these vast and ongoing global healthcare challenges, and to meet the Paris Agreement Climate Goals, it is essential that life science actors work together to leverage knowledge, data and technology.
Germany and Sweden are connected by a long-standing and close relationship fostered by an innovation partnership that places health on top of its agenda. Sweden has a dynamic and thriving life science ecosystem of thought-leaders and is a front-runner within innovations, while Germany maintains a strong tradition of developing new therapies, technologies and medicines.
In proud collaboration with Getinge, Team Sweden in Germany invites you to the Business Summit of Swedish-German Business Day 2023. The day will focus on Swedish-German collaboration for digital, sustainable and accessible healthcare, with discussions on how Sweden and Germany can respond to the pressing challenges placed on global healthcare systems, as well as the innovative solutions currently in development.
