An evidenced-based approach to the treatment of back pain with spinal mobilization and manipulation techniques will be presented.   The discussion will be focused on the effects of chiropractic care on objective measures of pain, stiffness, and lameness in horses.

I am an Associate Professor at the Orthopaedic Research Center at Colorado State University with research interests in the objective assessment of musculoskeletal pain, spinal dysfunction and the application of chiropractic, acupuncture, and rehabilitation of horses.

I am a charter diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and am currently a course instructor for the Equine Rehabilitation Certification course at the University of Tennessee.
