Technology and innovation are key accelerators towards reshaping the food ecosystem. To build future-fit food systems, capable of meeting the challenges of a growing global population, they are not merely desirable but imperative. This session will specifically:


  • Explore the role of technology and innovation in driving sustainability and resilience of food systems as well as addressing issues of food security and access
  • Identify potential challenges and barriers to implementing food tech innovations
  • Draw on innovative solutions and technologies along the food supply chain and showcase added value and benefits
  • Present examples of collaborative initiatives leading to successful technology adoption/innovation acceleration across the food value chain
  • Evaluate role of start-up ecosystems, incubators, and accelerators in creating a dynamic environment for driving food system change
