Integrationens avgörande betydelse i IoT-eran

Den snabba tillväxten inom IoT förändrar landskapet för fysisk säkerhet. Kameror, passerkontrollsystem, sensorer, fastighetsautomationssystem, energiplattformar och andra uppkopplade enheter genererar större datamängder än någonsin tidigare. Utmaningen handlar inte längre om att samla in information – utan om att integrera, tolka och agera på den i realtid.

Vince Gaydarzhiev, grundare och president, Alcatraz

 

Vince Gaydarzhiev grundade Alcatraz 2016 med målet att utveckla en lösning för passerkontroll – baserad på säker och tillförlitlig ansiktsautentisering. Med kontor i Cupertino, Kalifornien och Sofia i Bulgarien sysselsätter bolaget idag cirka 110 personer. Hans programpunkt på Skydds teknikscen kan beskrivas på följande sätt:

Ansiktsautentiseringens betydelse för passerkontroll

 

Som en del av teamet som utvecklade Apples Face ID-teknik fick Vince Gaydarzhiev praktisk erfarenhet av hur biometrisk autentisering kan kombinera hög säkerhet med användarvänlighet. Det fick honom att undersöka hur liknande principer skulle kunna tillämpas inom fysisk passerkontroll, vilket ledde till att han 2016 grundade Alcatraz som utvecklade The Rock – den flerfaldigt prisbelönta lösningen för ansiktsautentiserad passerkontroll.

 

På Teknikscenen ska Vince berätta om hur ansiktsautentisering kan förena hög säkerhet och användarvänlighet med ett starkt skydd för individens personliga integritet.

 

Han kommer också att ge sin syn på viktiga trender inom passerkontroll och identitetshantering, med särskilt fokus på ansiktsautentiseringens växande betydelse som en tillförlitlig för identifiering med starkt fokus på personlig integritet.

As a member of the team that developed Apple’s Face ID technology, Vince Gaydarzhiev gained first-hand experience of how biometric authentication can combine high security with user convenience. This inspired him to explore how similar principles could be applied to physical access control, ultimately leading him to found Alcatraz in 2016 and develop The Rock – the company’s multiple award-winning facial authentication solution for access control.

In his presentation, Vince will explain how facial authentication can combine high security and user convenience with strong protection of individual privacy.

He will also share his views on key trends in access control and identity management, with a particular focus on the growing role of facial authentication as a trusted, privacy-conscious credential.
