Track: Hälso- och sjukvården i totalförsvaret
How are the Finnish wellbeing services counties preparing regarding pharmaceuticals, healthcare supplies and vaccines logistic in threat and crisis situations?
In Finland, the wellbeing services counties have an integral role in the preparedness for threat and crisis situations. In recent years, there have been a lot of activities to strengthen the collaboration between the different wellbeing services counties, between wellbeing services counties and the municipalities, and between the wellbeing services counties and national level organizations.
The geopolitical situation has changed the attitude towards the storage and logistics of medical products throughout Europe. In 2020, the pandemic took many parties, responsible for the distribution of supplies and equipment, by surprise and the invasion of Ukraine increased the need of preparedness further.
One of the key questions is how the logistics of pharmaceuticals, healthcare supplies and vaccines can be unified with situational awareness and preparedness for different crisis situations, in a secure and sustainable way.
Join us for this presentation to hear from representatives from Finnish wellbeing services counties and national experts how the wellbeing services counties in Finland are prepared for disruptions through streamlining the logistics process.
