Anna Starbrink tillträdde som överdirektör för dåvarande Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap (MSB) den 24 februari 2025.
Innan Anna kom till MSB var hon riksdagsledamot och ordinarie ledamot i försvarsutskottet. Anna har även haft ledande chefsroller i flera kommuner, bland annat har hon varit förvaltningschef i Uppsala kommun samt regionråd i Region Stockholm
Björn leder Socialstyrelsens arbete med att stärka hälso- och sjukvården och socialtjänsten i vardagen, och för att ha beredskap för kris och ytterst krig. Myndigheten arbetar datadrivet och använder informatik och hälsodata i det kunskapsstyrande arbetet - exempelvis nationella riktlinjer, vårdens tillgänglighet och inför ett nationellt socialdataregister. Björn har en bakgrund som läkare och lång erfarenhet från ledande roller i hälso- och sjukvården.
Chef för regionernas gemensamma funktion för nationell samordning och planering inför och under höjd beredskap och krig med fokus på hälso- och sjukvården.
