Andreas has a background in computer science and engineering. For the past 11 years, he has worked with telemedicine, distance-bridging technology, and rural health. He has been the head of the Centre for Rural Medicine in Region Västerbotten for 5 years. This R&D unit was recently designated as a national knowledge centre for Rural Health in Sweden.
