Nordic Hackathon for coordinated health and social care - Interoperability Lab Session
Tisdag 20 maj 2025 13:00 - 15:00 J1
Föreläsare: Monica Winge, Alexander Berler
Spår: Workshops och fördjupningar, Workshops
Why should I participate?
Imagine a shared space where we come together in real time to shape the future of coordinated healthcare and social care. That is what happens at the Nordic Hackathon (March 18-20). IT developers, health data experts, and professionals from across the Nordics join forces to build an open and interoperable ecosystem for health and social care.
Driven by real patient needs, we apply standards like OpenEHR, HL7 FHIR, and SNOMED CT to create tools that support patients with multiple conditions, ensuring seamless integration between healthcare and social care providers.
The outcome
Ideas and prototypes that bring us closer to a modern, interoperable, and patient-centered system—a future where every patient receives the care they need, without gaps or barriers.
The session will investigate how we can create integrated care treatment plans in the era of the EHDS regulation. what should we do to create bottom up solutions that will be operable within the scope of the new EHDS regulation? (Regulation (EU) 2025/327 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2025 on the European Health Data Space and amending Directive 2011/24/EU and Regulation (EU) 2024/2847, https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2025/327/oj/eng)
How can we organise a vivid ecosystem with the right testing tools to prepare ourselves for what will come?
Who is organising this session?
Health Data Sweden (HDS) is the one-stop-shop for acceleration of digital transformation in health data for SME’s and the public sector, using key technologies. IHE Catalyst AISBL is the operational branch of IHE worldwide. IHE Catalyst organizes testing events, manages test tools and supports the process of creating testable specifications in the domains of healthcare interoperability and digital transformation in healthcare.HDS and IHE join forces in this compelling interactive session to promote the integration of well-designed care paths involving both Healthcare providers and Patients.
