Shahid is the co-founder/CTO of Mabel AI AB, an AI-native startup based in Gothenburg working on the language barrier problem. Mabel AI does not use any third party API for voice-to-voice translation, instead, it develops its own AI models that are specifically optimized for medical sector. Mabel AI's solution, Mabel Translate, can be run either on-device or on-premise for the maximum data security.
Mabel Translate is approved by Västra Götalandsregion and is available via the largest state-owned interpretation agency, Tolkförmedling Väst. In Sweden, Mabel Translate is heavily used in Sahlgrenska university hospital and other places in VGR.
Apart from Sweden, we have customers in Norway, UK; Germany, Canada, and the US.
