Socialstyrelsen arbetar med stöd och uppföljning av omställningen till God och nära vård. Omställningen syftar till att vården i högre grad organiseras och bedrivs med utgångspunkt från patientens behov och förutsättningar och bedrivs personcentrerad. För att uppnå detta är digitalisering, e-hälsa och välfärdsteknik en stor del av transformationen och ger invånaren en betydande roll i frågor kring sin hälsa.
Socialstyrelsen presenterar en lägesbild utifrån rapporten Uppföljning av e-hälsa och välfärdsteknik 2022 med fokus på kommunal hälso- och sjukvård samt rapporten Uppföljning av omställningen till en mer nära vård 2020 som belyser det regionala perspektivet.
