ArcticZymes Technologies is a Norwegian life sciences company focused on specialised, novel enzymes and immunomodulating beta-glucan technology. The company was previously called Biotec Pharmacon but was rebranded in 2020. In its core business segment of enzymes, the company develops, produces and markets recombinant enzymes for use in molecular research, In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and therapeutics. In the beta-glucan segment, Biotec BetaGlucans, the company develops immunomodulating beta-glucan products, serving several different market segments including wound care, animal and consumer health and adjuvants. ArcticZymes is based in Tromsø, Norway.

Recent highlights
In Q2 2022, ArcticZymes had sales of NOK 30.4 million growing by 43% (Q2 2021: NOK 21.3 million). For the first 6 months of 2022, ArcticZymes had sales of NOK 79.5 million growing by 28% (H1 2021: NOK 62.2 million). In June, the company announced the launch of their second-generation SAN HQ Enzymes. In February 2022, ArcticZymes announced that it had established a new distribution partnership in Israel. In March 2022, the company announced that it established a new application development laboratory. In April 2022, ArcticZymes announced that it had entered a new supply agreement with an undisclosed international life science company.

Outlook
ArcticZymes anticipated that the main growth driver going forward will continue to be the utility of the SAN products in gene therapy, vaccine development and other applications. Furthermore, the company expects to achieve growth in the molecular diagnostic segment. Finally, the company anticipates the launch of several new products in 2022.
