Dr. Heather Ashby is a Principal Consultant at Corner Alliance, specializing in national security and emerging technologies.

Prior to joining Corner Alliance, she served as the Associate Director of the United States Institute of Peace’s program on Disruptive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Ashby also spent seven years with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Her research interests center on misinformation and the broader impacts of artificial intelligence on democracy.
