Sabine Koch is the Strategic Professor in health informatics at Karolinska Institutet and Director of its Health Informatics Centre. She holds both a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in medical informatics from the University of Heidelberg and is an elected Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics and the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics. She has 30 years of experience in health informatics research and education, especially regarding models for cooperative care, human factors/usability, evaluation of information systems, consumer informatics as well as evidence-based decision support and information visualization for enhanced decision making. Sabine is the current President of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) and Editor-in-Chief of Methods of Information in Medicine. She is a member of the Nordic Ehealth Research Network and expert to the European Commission for evaluation of the impact of digital health services.
