Oskar joined the Equitix team in August 2021 with the objective to focus generating and managing infrastructure investments in the Nordic Region. Oskar sources and leads the bidding and execution of investments in the region as well as participating in the asset management work relating to those assets.
Oskar is committed to enabling and accelerating the energy transition in the Nordics and is passionate about securing and creating a stable and democratic infrastructure systems that creates value for stakeholders in the society.
Oskar has been instrumental in growing Equitix’s presence in the Nordics by generating deals both in Finland (the acquisition of the car park in western harbour with the port authorities as lessee), building a fibre platform in Sweden for future consolidation of city as well as rural fibre networks and creating the joint venture with the Biogas provider Andion in Nordics as well as Italy.
Prior to joining Equitix Oskar worked for the AP 1 in Sweden being responsible for direct investments with focus on Infrastructure and Real Estate. Oskar has over 20 years of industry experience from companies such as Polhem Infra, AP1, PwC, DTZ Corporate Finance and SEB. In addition, Oskar started his own advisory business, Bois & Partner in 2005 focusing on advising public sector and public owned companies regarding project finance related transactions. This company was sold to PwC.
Robert Backman Föreläsare

Mr. Backman brings experience and proven track record from over 30 years within the financing industry. Mr. Backman worked for 20 years within the industrial sector with ABB Financial Services (based in Europe and the US) followed by 15 years in the commercial banking industry with well recognised brand names as GE Capital, HSBC Bank and the Norwegian DNB Bank.
Engineering background gives peer advantage in understanding needs and opportunities, not least within the new digital arena.
Between 2006 and 2017 Mr. Backman built and ran the International Structured Finance department within DNB Bank in Oslo, with representation in Europe, Asia and the US.
Mr. Backman currently offers financial and structuring services with the Stockholm based firm ScandiCapital with a focus on domestic and international infrastructure projects.
Tore Emanuelsson Föreläsare
Nordic Investment Bank
Tore re-joined the Nordic Investment Bank, NIB, in 2011 as Senior Client Executive. As a senior banker Tore is responsible to develop the relationship with the banks customers within the sectors of infrastructure.
Tore’s position implies direct responsibility for a large number of customer relationships within the Nordic countries, and he typically act as the team leader for dedicated transaction teams.
Noteworthy transaction includes originating, processing and closing of the loans to the two scientific ventures Max IV and European Spallation Source (ESS). Other important transactions include a variety of important Nordic customers; Swedish Space Corporation, SEEL Swedish Electric Transport Laboratory AB,
Ericsson, Tele2, SJ, Swedavia, City of Gothenburg, Region Stockholm and Transitio.
Prior to joining Nordic Investment Bank Tore held a senior position with European Investment Bank, EIB, as Senior Loan Officer in Luxembourg and Ukraine. Tore was, among other achievements, responsible for setting up the EIB representation office in Kiev.
Before the joining EIB Tore held senior positions with NIB, the Swedish truck manufacturer Scania and the telecoms company Ericsson.
Tore holds an MBA & MsC, Business and Economics from the University of Uppsala.
