The seminar will focus on presenting the five practices of community organizing. A methodology documented by Professor Marshall Ganz at Harvard Kennedy School. This methodology is value based and focuses on the constituency of the problem facing the challenge and strategizing people using their own resources to achieve change. It’s a methodology that has proved to be successful in electoral, environmental, health and educational campaigns. The five practices of organizing are Public narrative, Relationship building, Teams, Strategy and Action.
