Creative Writing - A Classroom Guide
Monday October 29, 2018 10:50 - 11:40 C2
Lecturer: Kevin Frato
Track: I klassrummet
Writing stories helps students understand fiction, and also challenges them to learn a wider range of language strategies and written structures. This lecture will give you reasons for teaching fictional writing, strategies for connecting reading and writing fiction, and simple, skills-based creative-writing exercises for students at various levels. Most of us teach students to read fiction, but fewer teach writing it - this lecture will help. The companion book "Creative Writing Classroom Guide" will be published by Natur & Kultur in late 2018.
