The Tidewave turning mattress prevents and treats pressure ulcers up to and including grade 4.

The air-filled turning mattress has a curved shape to enhance safety when turning as well as lowering the pressure on the body.
This technology removed the need to manually reposition patients for pressure relief and provides:
- Extra safety from falling
- 10% less pressure on the body in curved position
- Increased pressure relief from regular turning up to 30 degrees angle
- Ergonomically adapted to the patient
- Sensor technology ensures accurate and safe movement

Depending on the chosen setting, one turning cycle lasts 20-60 min.
Highly customisable to the patients' needs
The turning program can be individually adapted to the patient’s needs by custom options:
- Turning degree:
- both sides
- only the left side
- only the right side - Turning angle:
- 10 degrees
- 20 degrees
- 30 degrees - Delay on each side for each turn session:
- No delay
- 15 min delay
- 30 min delay - Turning speed:
- low (equals 40 min per turning round)
- medium (equals 30 min per turning round)
- full speed (equals 20 min per turning round) - Care function:
Clicking start/pause button will deflate mattress and starts operating automatically after 30 minutes.
